About the programme

This Chemical Processes and Production of Chemical Materials program of Satbayev University is aimed at training creative, self-developing specialists who will be competitive in the labor market and will be able to successfully work in the field of chemical engineering. The program is aimed at training specialists in the field of chemistry and chemical technology for the main chemical industries. Graduates will receive an academic degree of a master of engineering and technology with a 1.5-year training or a master of technical science with a 2-year training.

The program is based on high technology, the widespread use of modern information technology, computerization of design and management. Graduate students study modern technology for processing natural raw materials and waste from chemical industries, analysis software packages, national and international standards in chemistry, the design and principles of laboratory and production equipment.

Undergraduates undergo professional, research and scientific and pedagogical practice at leading world universities can study for a semester abroad under academic mobility programs.

For students, there is the possibility of an in-depth study of one of the foreign languages, which ensures a high level of general cultural and professional competencies of graduates and their competitiveness in the labor market, and also provides the opportunity to study for 1-2 semesters in leading foreign universities under the academic mobility program.
