About English at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

Deemed to be University, in the year 1987. The Department is proud of its experienced and committed faculty members who are deeply involved in research, in the areas of English Language Teaching, Technology Enabled learning, Critical Thinking and English Literature and they actively involve the Research Scholars and Post Graduate Students in the campus and off the campus. Various programmes like PhD in English Literature and Language Teaching, MA in English Literature and BA in English Literature are being offered by the department. Our alumni has been in wonderful positions in the field of creative arts, technical writing, teaching and Human Resource Management.
