Overview

The mission of the Graduate School of Innovative Business (GSIB) is to prepare highly skilled experts in the field of natural resources’ management for the enterprises of fuel and energy complex, geological-geophysical exploration of oil and gas deposits, and also in the field of chemical processing of hydrocarbon raw material.

Graduate School unites the resources of different faculties of the University and adapts the classical university educational programms to the changing needs of economics.

The main layout of the education process is two year full-time Master’s Degree Programms, or additional education programms.

Career

The training Geological - Geophysical Exploration and Modelling of Hydrocarbon Fields program from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) is designed for specialists with natural science as well as humanities basic education.

The programs are aimed at obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurial activity, primarily in the innovation sphere.

Advance training courses are tailor made and designed for corporate customers, they are aimed at obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship, primarily in the innovation sphere.

Programme Structure

Special attention during the course of Master training is paid to computer technologies for construction of 3D geological and geophysical models of geological environment and 4D modelling of processes in this environment, and specifics of their application to practical geological problems.

for Master’s (MSс/MA) programs: original or a copy of a document on higher education and qualifications (not lower than a Bachelor's or a Specialist’s degree);
Notarized translation into Russian of educational documents and supplements indicating subjects studied, grades and credits received;
Copy of a valid passport or a national ID;
Documents confirming the name change, if the name on educational documents does not match the name on documents proving the identity;
Notarized translation into Russian of the first two pages of the passport / ID and the name change documents;
PDF, JPG, PNG or BMP file with applicant’s photo (30*40 mm, black and white or color image is allowed, strictly full face (straight), without a headdress, the background should be white).
