The diversity of background of the students in the Water Resources Development program at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology provides a unique learning opportunity through exchange of ideas and information from a group with different understanding and from different perspectives, but with the same vision.
What Would You Study?
As IWRM is a multi-disciplinary field, requiring a holistic understanding of the system with a good blend of engineering, agricultural, socio-economic and environmental analyses, a multi-disciplinary course curriculum is pursued. The multi-disciplinary programs are aimed at engineers, planners, hydrologists, agriculturists, physical and social scientists.

General requirements
- Four years Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering/ Urban and Regional Planning/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Science and Management/ Soil, Water and Environmental/ Geography and Environmental/ Geology/ Disaster Management or its equivalent.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or PG. Dip. (WRD) or its equivalent having a minimum GPA of 2.65 out of 4.0 from any recognized institution.
