Key facts

In total 30-35 students for each academic session get selected for the Architecture program at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology followed by a written and/ or oral test.

The minimum duration of the M.Arch programme shall be three semesters. To get an M. Arch degree a student must complete 36 credit hours including a thesis of 18 credit hours within five academic years or ten semesters.

Complete an online application form.

Statement of Intent within 250-300 words.

The CV (maximum 2 pages) will contain information about work experience, awards or honours, publications, conferences & workshops attended, short courses or training received, extra-curricular activities, volunteer work or other social contributions made.

During the interview, candidates are expected to bring in examples of their previous works in the form of a Portfolio (including thesis/ design dissertation, published articles and other scholarly works). It is a requirement that the Candidate shall make available their original certificates, transcripts and other records at the time of the online Interview.
