WRE Department offers postgraduate educational and research opportunities encompassing a broad spectrum of interests in the areas of:
- Hydrology
- Hydraulics and Groundwater

- WR systems planning and management
- Coastal engineering and estuarine hydraulics

General requirements
For admission to the courses leading to a Master's degree (M.Sc. Engg/ M.Engg.) a candidate:
- must have at least one first class/first division in any public examination,
- should have at least 50% marks or CGPA of a minimum of 2.50 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in B. Sc. Engg. in the relevant branch and
- must not have a third division/class in any public examination.
