Overview
The Analytical Biochemistry seeks to qualify students in biochemistry and to teach them recent theories and technical skills in the field of analytical biochemistry. In addition, it aims to follow up developments in this area and to provide students with basic professional, technical and academic abilities needed to qualify them for work in different fields of bioanalyses.The Diploma aims to prepare postgraduate students with knowledge in analytical biochemistry so that they develop skills needed for conducting individual and collaborative research in this field to cover all biochemical analyses in industry, and pharmaceutical, medical, and academic chemistry.
Learning Outcomes
- To help graduate acquire knowledge and scientific and technical skills in the field of analytical biochemistry.
- To qualify students in biochemistry and to inform them in modern theories and technical skills in area of science according to future needs and late advancements in Egypt and worldwide.
- To prepare students to continue higher education and research in area of analyses.
- To provide students with basic professional, technical and academic abilities needed to qualify them for work in different fields of analytical biochemistry.
- To add to knowledge and participate in scientific advancements in the field of analytical biochemistry through scientific research and following developments in field of science.
- To help students acquire some general skills that develop their personal abilities.
- To conduct experiments and explain problems related to bioanalyses.
- To use theoretical and practical skills through learning in groups and to face problems of analyses using proper scientific approach for solving problems.
- To utilize laboratory and scientific capabilities of Department of Chemistry at Faculty of Science, Tanta University, to meet requirements of this program through making use of Faculty staff’s capabilities who are at the Department in addition to the possibility of using other expertise from inside and outside the University if necessary.

- Original copy of Bachelor's Original copy of Bachelor's Certificate (to apply for Master's degree or Diploma) + original copy of Master's Certificate (to apply for PhD).
- Original copy of the certificate that shows estimations of the four years.
- Birth Certificate + a copy of it.
- Approval of workplace as for persons working for government, business sector or private sector.
- Statement of full-time study signed by the student himself if he does not work.
- A certificate showing his state of recruitment.
- Four personal photos.
