Program objectives

The major objectives of the Islamic Art and Architecture programs at the International Islamic University Islamabad are:

To practically train students in the field of Art & Design.
Revival of Muslim Art & Architecture.
To prepare graduate students to work in the field of designing i.e. Interior design, textile, Graphic Design and Islamic architecture.
Get mastery in three content areas of their choice: Architectural Design, Interior Design and Painting
Understand how to develop design for different environment and to deal with problems.

MA/MSc/BS (4 years) with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual System.

International students:

Application fee (US $75); attach copy of deposit slip / challan or Bank Draft or Pay Order with application form favoring IIU Islamabad
Passport size photographs with blue background
Copy of Passport Residential Permit (Eqama), Overseas ID card, NOC of /o Foreign Affairs or Your Embassy in Pakistan
Three copies of duly filled government of Pakistani Permission form (Students’ Information Sheet)
Verified educational documents (all degree/certificates)
Valid Passport / Valid Study Visa

You need to apply through your embassy or send your application directly to Director (Acad) IIUI. You will be required to submit GMAT and TOEFL score.
