Overview

The vision of the Department of Psychology at Hazara University Mansehra is to enable the students to serve as intellectual resource base and to apply the science of human behavior for social betterment, to enable the students to have a deeper understanding of improving psychological well-being.

The Department also focuses on the acquisition of relevant skills to behavioral assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mentally ill and to focus on the translation and adaptation of the tests and their norms development.

Outcomes

The Department of Psychology aims at providing the skills need to:

• Examine the human behavior systematically from many different socio cultural perspectives and will also inculcate intellectual curiosity, power of imagination, creativity, instructional abilities and inspire them to act rationally and decisively under complex conditions.
• Adjust in their relevant field without any professional hurdles as per the community requirements.
• Pursue higher research based education.
• Contribute in the growth of national peace by utilizing professional skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and leadership
