Overview

The purpose of this Bioresource Sciences course at Shizuoka University is to foster the skill of students who will later active roles in maintaining and developing regional industries. This course makes full use of the abundant agricultural and forestry resources and technologies for producing local specialties of the Shizuoka area, and has been developed in close cooperation with local governments as part of a measure to revitalize local regions through education.

Features

There are four programs in this course: Plant Bioscience, Wood Science and Technology, Applied Ecology and Environmental Science, and Agro-food Community Design. In this course, students will acquire a broad range of knowledge in agriculture and forestry and develop expertise in specific fields.
