Overview
Forensic Science from The University of the West Indies combines rigorous scientific and laboratory training with exposure to the breadth of forensic science disciplines and further specialization in one of the following four areas: forensic chemistry, forensic biology, forensic pathology and forensic toxicology. Students also receive training in statistical evaluation of forensic evidence, legal testimony related to chain of custody, good laboratory practices, testing procedures, results and interpretations, report writing, research, and the value of professional ethics.
Students at Forensic Science from The University of the West Indies will:

- Apply basic forensic science concepts to problem solving necessary for success in a modern forensic science laboratory
