Overview
MSc in Chemistry
The MSc programme aims to educate and train highly qualified chemists with a strong theoretical foundation and excellent practical skills in chemistry, as well as solid knowledge of related natural sciences such as mathematics and physics, basic informatics competencies, and a good command of a foreign language.
Graduates are prepared for creative and independent work in chemical research and development. They are trained to identify, analyse, and solve complex problems in areas such as the synthesis and functionalisation of compounds, qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis, and structural determination.
The programme qualifies graduates for professional and leadership roles in the chemical industry, public administration, environmental management and protection, and quality control and quality management. It also provides a strong academic basis for further studies at PhD level in chemistry or related disciplines.
