Course modules include:- Pathogenesis and diagnosis of dental diseases, and dental materials – Understand the basic science underpinning the knowledge of common disease processes relevant to restorative dentistry and the materials used to restore/replace dental tissues affected by these processes
- Caries, tooth surface loss, direct restorations – Explore the diagnosis and management of caries and tooth surface loss, including the use of direct restorations
- Periodontology and endodontics – Analyse the diagnosis and management of periodontal and endodontic pathology
- Fixed and removable Prosthodontics – Learn about the principles of the restoration of teeth using indirect restorations, and the replacement of missing teeth
- Dissertation – Develop evidence-based dentistry skills through the completion of an evidence synthesis project
