Key facts

The Clinical Neuropsychology Knowledge and Practice programme of the University of Glasgow has an exceptionally strong reputation for the standard of training we offer, but to date this has been limited to the underpinning knowledge component of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN). The new combined programme adds the clinical practice component to our existing BPS accredited programme.

Lectures are given by subject specialists meaning that knowledge is always up to date, with many of those delivering lectures being research leaders in the field of clinical neuropsychology and related disciplines.

Designed to provide eligibility for entry to the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

General requirements

Applicants must have a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) or Doctorate of Counselling Psychology from the UK. The Doctorate degree must meet the requirements to register with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Applicants with a qualification in Clinical Psychology from outside the UK may be admitted if they can demonstrate that they are eligible for registration with the HCPC.
All applicants must have work experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
Applicants with a degree in Counselling Psychology must complete the Admissions of Counselling Psychologists form using the linked pro-forma.
