What you'll study
You will gain knowledge of functional neurosurgery in pain including deep brain stimulation, its role, indications and complications. You will also examine the surgical indications for neuropathic pain syndromes such as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), phantom limb pain, anaesthesia dolorosa, post stroke pain, cluster headache and cancer pain, and gain an insight into procedural skills and long term management of patients.
