Overview

The Physics programme from Chung Yuan Christian University teachers are conscientious and hold doctoral degrees from prominent universities at home and abroad. Some have even won the school-level arwards of distinguished teachers by for four consecutive years.

Some teachers have created innovative courses: “The Physics of Superheroes” is just one good example of a new E-learning Course for this innovative generation.

Research results are abundant. In the recent five years, the average number of teachers’ annual papers (SCI/EI) is about 2.

Research resources are more than sufficient. In recent years, the Department has gained budget supplement about 12 projects each year, and received annual subsidies to the amount of about 19 million per year.

The Department have diverse learning space and equipment, with facilities such as the Makers Space, the Physics Demonstration and Innovation Teaching Center, and the Zhizhong Physics Learning Center.
