Overview
The Telecommunications Engineering and Smart Grids double program formed by the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the Master Degree in Smart Grids, taught by Strathclyde University and Comillas Pontifical University in close collaboration with Iberdrola , combines industry and academia to provide students with a generic training in telematics engineering, which is completed with a specialisation in smart grids, one of the revolutions in the energy sector.
Students will have a detailed understanding of the operation and planning of electricity grids under the new paradigm of smart grids.
The students will spend one semester in Spain and one semester in Scotland; they will also carry out internships (from May to August) in leading companies such as Iberdrola, Scottish Power Energy Networks (Glasgow), Minsait, Naturgy and Gridespertise.

- Original or certified photocopy of the complete academic transcript, including credits and hours completed. If the studies have not been completed, the academic record obtained up to the present will be submitted.
- Certificate of English language proficiency, demonstrating the required level (according to the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment) as per program requirements.
- Personal statement indicating the reasons for wishing to start or continue postgraduate studies at this University in the selected program and the availability of time to pursue these studies.
- Two letters of recommendation from university professors who have known the applicant or, alternatively, from company executives who sponsor the student.
- Curriculum vitae.
