Advanced Paramedic Practice course from Glasgow Caledonian University has been designed in consultation with policy advisors, clinicians, students and patient representatives. We recognise the importance of service user and carer perspectives when it comes to defining a flexible approach to practice experience and in advancing core and area-specific levels of clinical competence

This course recognises that advanced paramedic practitioners must demonstrate high-level decision-making and problem-solving skills in challenging, complex clinical situations as part of caring for the population, requiring advanced scholarship to underpin safe and effective practice.

Careers

This course provides education which would enable graduates to seek employment as an advanced practitioner, not only with ambulance services but within the wider healthcare context.Graduates are ready to lead inter-professional teams and assist in the delivery of practice development and become change agents in their healthcare settings.
