- Applicants need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, achieved in one sitting which must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Applicants must have a minimum 2:2 in a health, social care or social sciences degree. Applicants must have a minimum of 500 hours of care experience ( in a statutory, voluntary/independent or charitable health, care or social care setting) Applicants who interview successfully must complete a Portfolio of Evidence prior to commencing the course.

Funding
- Automatic tuition fee discount applied for all EU/EEA/Swiss nationals, currently resident in Europe, who will be commencing their studies in 2022/23. The scholarship will reduce the level of tuition fees that are payable from the Overseas tuition rate to the Home / UK tuition fee . If the course is of more than one year's duration the scholarship will be applied each year for the duration of the degree programme.
