The SOS Level I Master's Degree in Sustainable Architecture and Design :

Accreditation
The SOS Level I Master's Program in Sustainable Architecture and Design is a degree recognized by the MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education) worth 60 CFU/ECTS that will be issued by UNINETTUNO International Telematic University to all the positively assessed students upon completion of 12 months of study.

The program structure consists of two phases:
- Foundation Courses: held online on the e-learning platform and running from mid-September to mid-March (first Intake) or from January to July (second Intake), they feature: Foundations of Sustainability, Design for Circular Economy, Digital & Parametric Design, Environmental Design, Healthy Materials. Course content tackles the most effective and innovative sustainability practices within the building sector, with an open-minded, holistic, research-driven, human-centered approach.
- Project Tracks: held on campus within the MCA Headquarters, running for four months, from mid-March to mid-July (first Intake) or from September to mid-December (second Intake). In this phase, SOS students, divided into groups, work on real and impactful projects in close collaboration with SOS Partner Companies and Institutions, experiencing the entire life cycle of a given project implementing the SOS approach.
Audience
SOS School of Sustainability welcomes talented and motivated candidates willing to delve into sustainability within the building sector. The master's is open to recent graduates or emerging professionals with diverse backgrounds (architects, engineers, and designers) capable of undertaking environmental challenges using a research-driven approach, as well as candidates with other profiles.
Lecturers
The SOS Faculty is made up of a variety of experts from the world of education, research, and industry including architects, engineers, sociologists, anthropologists, artists and designers. Each member brings skills that are intertwined with the issues of sustainability, climate change, de-carbonization, the sustainable development agenda, and the transition to a circular economy.

In order to be admitted to the Master’s Program in Sustainable Architecture and Design candidates must have:
- completed a 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Design*
- a minimum of a B2.1 Level in English
- a strong passion, motivation, commitment, and ambition to contribute to the spreading of the culture of sustainability

Tuition payments will be made in 3 installmente. SOS also offers scholarships to qualified students to partially offset program tuition fees.
Living costs for Milano
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
SOS offers tuition reduction merit based scholarship to to partially offset program tuition fees for qualified students.
All candidates, upon submitting their application, are automatically considered for a scholarship based on their academic excellence, professional experience, and motivation. Upong acceptance, students will receive an acceptance packet containing information about whether or not they have been awarded a scholarship and, if so, in what amount.
