Overview
Quality engineering focuses on an in-depth study of organizational, technical, and strategic tools used to improve productivity and the delivery and quality of products and services. The application of these tools addresses quality and productivity issues to help organizations standardize procedures, measure performance, improve customer satisfaction, and manage resources more efficiently. This Process Quality Engineering programme is offered at Conestoga College .

Once you graduate, you will be equipped to perform process-quality roles within any area of an organization. You will be able to apply for jobs like industrial engineering and manufacturing technologist and technician, engineering inspectors and regulatory officer, and other products assembler, finisher, and Inspector positions.
The Process Quality Engineering programme content aligns favourably with selected American Society of Quality's (ASQ) Bodies of Knowledge. Upon programme completion, graduates will be well-positioned to pursue many of these ASQ certifications.
Careers
- On completion of the programme, the graduate will understand the role of modern quality techniques in creating value in an organization and will be able to apply the proper techniques and procedures to solve problems and enhance the quality of goods and services, to eliminate waste and to reduce the incidence of defects. Many of the graduates from the PQE programme have found opportunities in various manufacturing/service sectors such as: aerospace and defence, automotive, custom manufacturing, high volume processing (e.g., dairy industry), capital goods manufacturing, and finance.
