Malta’s rich history as an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea provides a unique vantage point when it comes to understanding, analysing and resolving conflict. The responsibility to manage and resolve conflicts through mediation, negotiation and peace-building is shared across society, but contributing to the development of scholarship and practice on this issue to ultimately address the root-causes of conflict is a calling for the select few. Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security is offered at University of Malta .

This teaching programme will equip you with skills you can effectively use in diverse sectors such as international organisations, government, business, and non-profit settings.
It will effectively prepare you for research and intervention to manage, mitigate, resolve and potentially prevent conflicts of all kinds.
If you successfully complete this course, you will earn not one but two Masters’ Degrees: an MSc Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the US-based George Mason University (GMU) and an MA Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security from the University of Malta.
