Programme Overview

The Building Technology from Covenant University currently offers a 5-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Building Technology and a number of Post graduate programme. The degree is framed to produce graduates with a sound basic knowledge of Building construction and its management.

It has long been recognized and appreciated that the building process requires highly skilled labour to deliver quality product promptly. Hitherto this expectation is yet to be achieved and as a consequence the industry has suffered a number of setbacks – cost and time overrun, abandonment of building projects, building collapse, and premature decay of our environment.

General requirements

Candidates seeking admission to the Master’s degree Programme of Covenant University must possess a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Covenant University.
Preferably, candidates with First Class, Second Class (Upper Division), and Second Class (Lower Division with a minimum CGPA of 3.00) in the relevant disciplines may apply. The minimum duration of study for the award of the Master’s degree is two academic sessions for full-time.
In addition, Covenant University conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
