The learning concept of MSc Clinical Psychology is characterised by a high level of practice-relevant content as well as innovative teaching and learning methods. Its design as a pure distance learning course means that it is optimally focused on the needs of the target group.

The combination of guided self-study, individual student support and e-learning units offers students the possibility of learning independent of time and place, oriented to their own professional requirements and needs.

The master’s programme is designed for individuals of the health care sector.

The MSc Clinical Psychology is taught 100% online and can be finished in one year. Interested persons without a first degree (without a bachelor) can also apply for our masters and have a chance to study with AIHE.

Our students are enrolled at our partner university London Metropolitan University. The academic degree will be awarded from London Metropolitan University.

Programme Structure

The content of the one-year master´s programme is based on the following focal points:

  • Scientific work in clinical psychology
  • Classification, diagnosis and therapy of mental disorders I
  • Classification, diagnosis and therapy of mental disorders II
  • Intercultural psychiatry, suicidality and emergency psychology
  • Psychological medicine
  • Technology and Artificial Intelligence in diagnosis and therapy

First degree (at least bachelor) from a recognised German or comparable other foreign university 


the equivalent of the first university degree is considered to be at least six years‘ relevant professional experience.In addition, an entrance examination must be taken.
