
Overview
You will be able to apply research in various educational contexts where your analytical focus will be on sustainable and ethically defensible design for learning closely connected to society. The program is at the intersection between media, communication and language, social science and humanities perspectives and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. The field focuses on how digitization processes can be implemented in sustainable and responsible ways.
The LeaDS - Learning, Digitalization, and Sustainability (Two Years) programme at Jönköping University focuses on global perspectives and strategies for the sustainable development of education in a society characterized by ever-increasing digitization and media influence. Today, education is changing rapidly due to a more digitized and global society with an intensified EdTech market, with dataification of individuals' learning activities and practices, with new digital tools, as well as new forms of leadership and implementation processes. We study rapid changes in the sector from a sustainability perspective, with the aim of creating future-oriented learning of importance for future generations. The LeaDS program responds to a societal need for critical and practical thinking in terms of change and innovation with and through digital solutions based on sustainability in a range of different educational contexts.
Careers
The program gives you a Master of Philosophy degree with the main field of biomedical laboratory science, specialization clinical physiology. You get your master's degree after you have completed course requirements of 60 credits, of which at least 30 credits are in-depth in the main area of Biomedical Laboratory Science. In addition, an independent work (degree project) of 15 credits is also required.
The master's degree gives access to studies at postgraduate level.
