Overview

The Restorative Dentistry programme from Ajman University reinforces and builds upon basic skills developed during undergraduate dental training, and facilitates continued professional development. It prepares the candidate to work as a specialist in Restorative Dentistry in private practice, the hospital or community services, or to pursue an academic career.

The mission is to provide a Master educational programme in the UAE, in order to graduate highly qualified professionals to deliver compassionate and ethical oro-facial health care services. The mission of the Master of Restorative Dentistry Programme supports the Mission of the College of Dentistry at Ajman University.

The goals of this programmes are;

Prepare highly qualified specialist in Restorative Dentistry to deliver compassionate and ethical oral health care services to patients in specialist practice, community hospitals, and/or academic settings.
Prepare graduate with critical thinking attitude and foster self-directed lifelong learning convictions.
Provide graduates with sound knowledge in the scientific and ethical principles of research to be capable of addressing community oral health needs and contributing to advances in the field of Restorative Dentistry.

General requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Dental surgery from a UAE-recognized university with a minimum Cumulative General Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Applicants who have not completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution where English is the language of instruction, are required to submit documented proof of competency in oral and written English prior to admission.
Applicants with a CGPA between 2.0 and 2.99 on a 0 scale or equivalent or with TOEFL 530 and a CGPA of a minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent may be admitted conditionally.
