At Renewable Energy (Research) program from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia this program based on research work shall be supervised by a supervisor to take into account the research skills and experiences which are consistent with the research field of the candidate. All research proposals must be a defense by the candidate and approved by the committee appointed by the Institute. SERI offers the postgraduate program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science (Renewable Energy).

Bachelor’s Degree by obtaining a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from a University or any institution of higher learning recognized by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and/ or having accreditation recognized by foreign Accreditation Body, or institution who has accreditation as prescribed by a programme;
Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University or any institution of higher learning or an equivalent degree from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate;
any other requirements recognized by the Senate obtained through the Accreditation pf Prior Experiential Learning (APEL);
fulfils other requirements prescribed by the programme (if applicable); and
fulfils requirements of the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA)
