Overview

The students of Solid State Physics from University Sains Malaysia will explore the journey of knowledge and practical experience from sand to optical communication system. Candidates will also be trained to equip them with the capability of addressing physicist related problems as engineers in the semiconductor and solid state lighting industry.

CGPA of at least 2.75 / 4.00; or
CGPA between 2.50 - 2.74 with the following additional conditions: or
Research experience for at least one year; or
Work experience in related field for at least one year; or
At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
Grade B for major / elective courses; or
Grade B+ for final year project
CGPA between 2.00 - 2.49 (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) with the following additional conditions: or
Research experience for at least five (5) years; or
Work experience in related field for at least five (5) years; AND
