Overview
Established in 2004, the AYD prepares future diplomats, civil servants and social entrepreneurs for international careers. The Executive Diploma in the Art of Diplomacy degree from European Academy of Diplomacy is known for its world-class faculty, practitioners-oriented approach and a network of more than 3000 graduates from over 60 countries.
A selected cohort of approximately 80 promising talents from around the world will take part in over 140 hours of lectures, workshops, practical exercises, study-visits, leadership development groups and networking. The program is conducted in a hybrid format – with 4 online sessions and 4 in-person sessions organised in Warsaw. The program concludes with an Official Graduation Ceremony at the Warsaw Security Forum. Additionally, AYD alumni have a chance to attend the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg, organized by the EAD’s institutional partner - the Council of Europe.

Programme Structure
The AYD program consists of the following elements:
- Global Talks – Lectures with VIP speakers on current international affairs.
- Leadership Lectures – Leadership-focused sessions and Q&As with global leaders from diplomacy, politics, business and the non-profit sector.
- Diplomatic Skills Workshops – Practical workshops designed to develop skills for international careers.
- Specialization Classes – Tailor-made to each specialization, the classes offer a practitioner’s view of the most important issues in the field. The AYD program offers the following specializations:

- Study Visits – Visits to embassies and international organizations, online and in Warsaw.
- Leadership Development Groups – Small peer groups (5–6 participants) with monthly assignments to strengthen self-awareness, purpose and leadership potential.
