Overview
Degree Programme
Besides the specific technical know-how in Control Engineering, the Control Engineering programme of the Sapienza University of Rome will provide tools for describing and understanding the main issues in engineering problems, it will develop the students' capacities for ideating, planning, designing, and running automatic systems, processes, and services, and it will enhance their skills in experimenting scientific innovation. It will also introduce students to the correct use of technical English in written and oral form. Use of English in courses, and the international context of this Masters Degree Programme are factors that will favor employment in international settings.
The methodological approach of this Degree Programme aims to enable students to work in fundamental or applied research (in research centres or in R&D departments of companies) as well as to continue education toward a technical PhD degree. It also aims at maintaining a close connection with the labour market. This is also ensured by the vast number of prestigious cooperative research projects in the ICT domain in which the academic staff is involved and which are carried out with universities, national and especially international companies.
