Overview
Molecular and Translational Neuroscience from University of Coimbra aims to promote a strong interaction with clinical neurosciences through the integration of the study of the nervous system in pathological conditions, deepening the translational analysis of the different diseases of the nervous system and the application of novel methodologies and therapies.
Careers
This course does not specifically qualify for professional practice. However, it provides the scientific and technical knowledge and skills necessary to work in basic and applied research in the areas of life and health sciences, including in translational research (e.g. Molecular and Experimental Neuroscience, Translational Neuroscience, or Clinical Neuroscience), in academic institutions, hospitals and industry, where in-depth knowledge life sciences, including Neurosciences, is an asset.
