About the Course

The Regional Studies programme of the University of Peshawar will aim at conducting study and research on geo-strategic, economic, political, administrative and socio-cultural and religious aspects of the fore mentioned region and identifying ways and means for forging a meaningful regional cooperation /integration in the backdrop of developments taking place in and around the region. Moreover, due attention will be given to other important countries of the region such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates.

The primary objective of the M.S/M.Phil/Ph.D Scheme is to train and develop a corps of experts on regional affairs.

The Department of Regional Study has been allowed to introduce the subject programme Vide.

Admission will be offered purely on the basis of merit and merit for all the programmes will be determined on the basis of Bachelor marks

Candidates on waiting list must sign the attendance sheet in the concerned Departments/Centre/Institute within the specified dates, otherwise admission will not be offered

Hafiz-e-Quran & Disabled applicants must bring admission form acknowledgement receipt at the time of appearing in respective test/interview on respective dates

Admission forms received by post/mail or after due date will not be entertained

The University reserves the right to withdraw any programme OR to modify the rules governing the programmes OR to make necessary amendments in the programmes OR courses of studies where deemed necessary
