Overview

Since its inception, with the continued efforts of faculty members, the department has produced many Doctoral and M.Phil., degrees besides Post Graduates.

Research scholars of this department received prestigious national level fellowships from UGC - CSIR after qualifying through NET and INSPIRE fellowship from DST to pursue the research programmes.

The department extends its support to the post-graduate students of other disciplines offering elective and supportive courses under Choice Based Credit System.

Registration for SC/ST candidates is Rs.200/- for each application (Photo copy of the Community certificate be enclosed)
