About the Course

To enhance the academic and professional excellence of the students, seminars in the Geology program of the University of Peshawar are frequently arranged where the professionals with higher achievements are invited to deliver lectures. Along with teaching a particular emphasis is given to the field work of geologically significant terrains of the country. Building on the existing strengths, the Department of Geology is bridging a link between the academia and industry through various national and international conferences, seminars and workshops on regular basis. Such kind of link will help in the academic and professional growth of the students and the faculty members of the department.

The highly qualified faculty members of the department are engaged in meaningful curriculum assessment and improvement, grant writing, research and professional activities in the field of Earth Sciences in Pakistan both in terms of teaching and academic research. The professionally sound graduates of the department serves in various national and international oil companies, mineral exploration/exploitation and related organizations.

Candidates on waiting list must sign the attendance sheet in the concerned Departments/Centre/Institute within the specified dates, otherwise admission will not be offered
Hafiz-e-Quran & Disabled applicants must bring admission form acknowledgement receipt at the time of appearing in respective test/interview on respective dates
Admission forms received by post/mail or after due date will not be entertained
