About the Program
The English Literature program of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University contains four specializations:
- Criticism
- Poetry
- Drama
- Fiction
Program System
The program study plan applies a blended system of taught courses and thesis. Two academic semesters are dedicated to complete the taught courses: shared courses should be completed in the first semester, and specialized courses in any of the four above mentioned specializations should be completed in the second semester.

General requirements
- BA degree in English Language from any university approved by the Ministry of Higher Education with minimum GPA of very good.
- Passing additional complementary courses for graduates of Bachelor of Education in English Language in accordance with rules.
- Minimum score of (5) in IELTS or any other equivalent test.
- Passing the written test and the interview conducted by the Department.
