About the Program

The English Literature program of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University contains four specializations:

Criticism

Poetry

Drama

Fiction

Program System

The program study plan applies a blended system of taught courses and thesis. Two academic semesters are dedicated to complete the taught courses: shared courses should be completed in the first semester, and specialized courses in any of the four above mentioned specializations should be completed in the second semester.

General requirements

BA degree in English Language from any university approved by the Ministry of Higher Education with minimum GPA of very good.

Passing additional complementary courses for graduates of Bachelor of Education in English Language in accordance with rules.

Minimum score of (5) in IELTS or any other equivalent test.

Passing the written test and the interview conducted by the Department.
