About the Program
Health care is undergoing dramatic changes at a speed that makes it almost impossible to remain current and proactive. The chaos and multiple challenges facing health care providers and consumers are evident in critical care where new treatment modalities and technologies interface with a continued push for quality and positive outcomes. Therefore, critical care nurses practice in an environment that demands the integration of high-level cognitive, psychomotor and problem-solving skills in order to provide safe and efficient quality care.
The Clinical Nursing Science - Critical Care Nursing program of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University is a valuable tool in promoting excellence of care for critically ill patients and by providing an international and interdisciplinary forum, the critical care-nursing specialization encourages dissemination and exchange of research findings, sharing of experience and ideas and develops the knowledge and skills essential to good critical care nursing practice.
