Overview
The Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety program of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University was established under the umbrella of Health Information Management and Technology department at the college of Public Health.
The program aims at having graduates qualified in assessing the healthcare quality and patient safety and looking for opportunities to improve them. This can be done through the application of different well-known techniques approved nationally and internationally learnt during the program courses.

General requirements
- Applicants must have bachelor's degree in a relevant medical field from a Saudi university or other university which is accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education.
- Cumulative GPA that is at least 3.50/5.00.
- At least two years of full time work experience in the field of quality of care, hospital management, or similar healthcare field. Exemption will be limited to a few number of student applicants.
- A minimal IELTS score of 5.5 or its equivalent.
- Applicants must pass the written exam and the personal interview.
- Provide an employer’s approval and two letters of reference.
Work experience
- At least two years of full time work experience in the field of quality of care, hospital management, or similar healthcare field. Exemption will be limited to a few number of student applicants.
