Fully English-taught, the one-year Master’s Programme in Manufacturing Engineering from University West cooperates closely with industry, incorporating recent virtual methods, new materials and new manufacturing processes.

Advanced Laboratory and Acces to Experts

As a Manufacturing Engineering student you will have access to the Production Technology Centre (PTC) during your studies. 

PTC is one of the largest and newest manufacturing laboratories in Sweden, equipped with industrial research facilities such as metal powder and wire additive manufacturing (3D printing), robot welding and thermal spraying cells, machine tools and materials analysis equipment. 

Here you will have the opportunity to do research and experimental work in collaboration with experienced researchers, engineers and technicians in the field of manufacturing engineering.

General requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, materials science and engineering or the equivalent. 
  • The degree must include at least 7.5 credits of materials science and at least 15 credits of mathematics including basic knowledge of analysis, linear algebra and statistics.
