Overview
With The Natural Systems Management programme at Vilnius University, students will learn to assess the balance of terrestrial ecosystems and to propose decisions enabling sustainability. They will develop competencies in relation to the use of inland waterways and terrestrial natural resources. This will include supplying ecological communities with the possibility to adapt to the changing climate and environmental conditions. Graduates of the programme will be able to organise and carry out research, and provide consultancies, in situations where the impact of globalisation on biological diversity and human health has to be evaluated and action is required in the area of ecology, in terms of practical applications and/or research.
What comes after?
Careers in organisations operating in the area of ecology: you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for work in foreign and Lithuanian institutions and organisations that take care of the quality of the environment and strive to protect natural resources.
Environmental expert: this education will enable you to take on the position of an expert or controller in the area of environmental protection.
A jobs in a business institution: you will have the qualifications required for working in companies involved in the restoration of damaged natural systems or that are responsible for promoting responsible trade.

Completed university bachelor’s degree studies in economics, social geography, business, management, public administration, tourism and recreation, landscape architecture study fields of the life sciences, physical sciences, veterinary medicine, agriculture, engineering, technologies, health, sports, education study field group.
Motivational interview.
In addition, all applicants have to fulfill the general admission requirements.
University Bachelor's degree certificate and its supplement (or it's equivalent).
The applicant is required to submit a motivation letter (1200-4000 characters).
The copy of your passport or ID card must be certified.
