Overview
As an occupational therapist, you work closely with people in all stages of life – and your impact matters. At the same time, society is constantly evolving, placing new demands on knowledge, collaboration, and innovation within healthcare, rehabilitation, and working life.
This Occupational Therapy M.Sc programme offered by Jönköping University allows you to deepen your theoretical and practical knowledge. You will strengthen your ability to work evidence-based, think critically, and drive change – whether your ambition is to become a specialist, pursue a research career, or take on leadership roles.
You will explore how intersectional and socio-cultural factors influence health from an occupational perspective, and you’ll gain tools to apply and evaluate evidence in your clinical practice. You will also develop your communication and collaboration skills in multicultural, interprofessional, and international settings.
After graduation
Earning a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Jönköping University opens the door to a wide range of exciting opportunities. You’ll be qualified for advanced clinical roles, leadership positions, and work in development or research environments. The programme also provides eligibility for doctoral studies.
Your specialised knowledge and international outlook will make you a strong candidate in a job market that values evidence-based practice, collaboration, and sustainability.
Do you want to grow – personally, professionally, and academically – while contributing to the future of occupational therapy? Then this is the programme for you.
