Your Career

Graduates of the Contemporary Fine Art course at University of Huddersfield can pursue a wide range of creative and production-focused roles within the arts and cultural industries. Many go on to establish careers as practising Artists, Illustrators, Curators or Creative Producers, shaping and delivering artistic work and experiences for audiences. The course also provides a strong foundation for digital and media-based roles such as Digital Designer, Multimedia Designer, Video Producer, Environment Artist and VFX Artist, as well as Production Manager positions. These skills are valued across galleries, cultural organisations, creative studios and independent practice.

An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in a relevant subject or an equivalent professional qualification.
