Overview
This Geoscience study at from University of Tsukuba, will be conducted from the viewpoint of natural scientific processes and mechanisms. This program also deals with gaining a complete understanding of how the human environment is affected by natural scientific processes.
Objectives of the programme
To train talents who understand various natural phenomena on the earth, past and present, have a wide basic knowledge and a specialized research ability to contribute towards the settlement of various issues on a global scale, and have scientific intelligence necessary to overcome those issues in today's global society.

General requirements
- When you submit your application, you are required to attach an IELTS academic module certificate, official TOEIC certificate, or submitting your TOEFL score record. Scores of only those certifications or tests that were taken after July 2015 are considered valid.
- Your score for the English proficiency level will be determined on the basis of the standard scores mentioned below. If your score is equal to or higher than the standard scores, a full score of 150 will be awarded.
- The special subject comprises two parts: Required subject and questions from the selected area. When you submit your application, you are required to select one area of the following categories: Human Geography, Regional Geography, Atmospheric Science, Geomorphology, Hydrological Science, Spatial Information Science, Terrestrial Water Cycle System, and Atmosphere-Ocean Interaction System.
