International Security from Pompeu Fabra University provides students with a comprehensive set of analytical skills to help them understand the complex security challenges of the 21st century – from the return of conventional war, emergence of new technologies and hybrid forms of conflict, resource scarcity and climate change, nuclear weapons proliferation, to transnational terrorism and criminal violence.

• The Master’s programme covers both new and traditional security issues, including subjects, such as peace processes and conflict resolution, civil war and ethnic conflict, terrorism, intelligence studies, cybersecurity, humanitarian action, and international migration.
