Key Features

The Department of Civil Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology was established in 1993, and has made remarkable progress since then. The department now offers 30-40 graduate courses in StructuralEngineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Bridge & Tunnel Enginering, and Disaster Prevention & Reduction Engineering.

The Department of Civil Enginering has a well-qualified and learned tutor team of advisors. They are professors and assæiate professors, more than 80% of them with a doctor's degree. The faculty is engaged in the research of four major areas: Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering, and Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering. The department has well-qualified faculty and experienced staff supported by well-equiped laboratories, computing facilities and skilleci technical staff.
