Overview
The Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology at Jilin University has 6 teaching laboratories (equipped with multimedia system, stereomicroscope, mobile specimen display cabinet, multi-functional cadaver operating platform and other equipment), 2 specimen display rooms, and specimen processing facilities such as specimen preparation room, perfusion room and freezer room.

The department is mainly responsible for the teaching tasks of systemic anatomy and regional anatomy, covering various courses including clinical medicine, nursing, stomatology, environmental medicine, radiology, and pharmacy.
The scientific research laboratory of the department has the ability to carry out experiments such as behavioristics, molecular biology, cell culture, morphology, immunology and biochemistry, which can better meet the needs of teaching and scientific research at all levels. In the past five years, the department has received 7 various types of scientific research funds, including 2 National Natural Science Foundations, 4 Provincial Science and Technology Department projects, 1 Provincial Education Department project, with total funding of 1.68 million yuan and publication of more than 20 SCI papersProgramme Structure
