The graduate gains employment in the design organizations and in the construction of buildings.

Graduate's employment

Graduates of the Civil Engineering - Building and Industry Construction Master program at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava acquires the knowledge for the design of buildings, as well as the knowledge for their realization.

The graduate also acquires the knowledge about the issue of the foundation engineering, the concrete, brick, metal and wooden constructions, the building interior installation, the building physics, the building failures and the redevelopment of these failures. The graduate also acquires the knowledge about currently implemented BIM (Building Information Modelling).

After passing the Master’s degree in the field of study Building and Industrial Constructions, the graduate finds out application in the design practice, in the construction of buildings and in the field of capital construction.

The graduate will be able to obtain the authorization degree in the field of "Building Construction" when meeting the requirements for practice. The graduate will be prepared for the Doctoral Study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Technical University of Ostrava or at other Faculties of Civil Engineering in the Czech Republic and abroad.
