General requirements
- Four-year Bachelor's degree that should include undergraduate courses in principles of genetics, cell biology, human genetics, and molecular biology
- At least one course in psychology
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (on a 4.5 scale) or equivalent in the most recent 60 credit hours of university study
- Written Statement of Purpose (no more than 2 pages outlining relevant experience and reason for pursuing Genetic Counselling)

- Registration in the Genetic Admission Counseling Match
- Letters of Recommendation: 3
