Curriculum:
- Thesis-based option (33 credits): The thesis stream is for students who would like to engage in and learn more about research, as well as students with academic career aspirations (e.g. teaching, pursuing further graduate education)
- Project-based options (33 credits): Project stream students will develop projects with real-world impact supported by the identification of an onsite mentor who will assist with project guidance

General requirements
Applicants with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree:
- Must have a minimum GPA of B (73%) or equivalent in the work of the last four semesters or the last two undergraduate years (last ten full credits)
- Must be registered in good standing with the licensing body in the province in which you work
- International students who hold a baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited university, with a minimum GPA of B (73%) or equivalent in the work of the last four semesters or the last two undergraduate years and who are registered or authorized to practice in your home country will be considered for admission.
- Must be a registered nurse with 10 or more years of experience
- Must be registered in good standing with the licensing body in the province in which you work
- Will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- May be required to successfully complete additional courses prior to beginning the MScN
