The subject areas of these fields include: computer graphics and animation, internet and mobile systems for multimedia computing, biomedical multimedia systems, intelligent multimedia systems, mixed and augmented reality, computer music, networked media applications, and computer games.
In response to the rapid development of web technologies, human interfaces and robotics, students are expected to acquire sufficient knowledge and skills to conduct research on and experiment with web technologies for searching multimedia objects including speech, human-machine interface technologies, robot technology available in ubiquitous environments, and extreme environment exploration and remote sensing.
