Degree structure
The Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences from University of Sassari culminates in an extensive experimental thesis that includes a practical research work under the supervision of a professor of the University of Sassari. A defined number of students will be selected to join the international SWIMinCHEM Programme (Sassari-Wroclaw International Master in Chemistry), which, in agreement with the University of Wroclaw (Poland) confers a Double Degree.
The Programme requires that students will spend at least one semester at the host University and leads to two recognised Master’s degree certificates, one from the student’s home institution and one from the host institution.

General requirements
- An undergraduate Degree in Chemistry (three years course, B.Sc. equivalent) is required for admission to the Master's programme.
- Other degrees are valid if they meet the requirements stated in the Regulation of the Master's degree. In particular, the student must have a minimum number of credits (CFU’s) in some scientific sectors (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Informatics, Biology, Chemical Engineering) with a minimum of 60 CFUs in Chemistry.
